More shameless than in this production by directing newcomer Lorenz Michel public sex cannot be presented. Sex reporter Chris Bee turns every corner in Berlin into a playground for hot games by men. Unsuspecting passers-by are incorporated into the game. There is no inhibition! Recklessness crosses all borders. Big balls are sucked totally dry. It doesn't matter how many spectators are shocked or turned on. No ass will be unpumped. Girls, put your men on a leash before they get involved in pure primitive sex on the spot. All in all, “Event Horizon” is a cinematic misfire, begging to be perfected in the future. While it possesses an array of admirable visuals, the film leaves much to be desired. If only we could see Anderson’s preferred cut, which featured more character development and tortuous imagery. In the meantime, I have a catchphrase for this film: In space no one can hear you snore.
“Reboot” is crass and sometimes incoherent, and has much room to improve, but with investments of time and care, could flower out of the seed of a vision.
