(Abbas) is a powerful businessman who manages several diverse projects in the field of real estate and production. On the family level, he goes through a tense life with all his family members, which exposes him and them to many comedic paradoxes.
Ultimately the problem with The Bubble is that it plays everything for laughs to get around the audience’s defenses. But it comes off like a privileged white male thinking that ridiculing everyone else equally is the road to equality. And it’s not. And it's definitely not funny to pretend that it is.
This is not a film, it’s a drop tower. A drop tower that you don’t get off of for the vast majority of its 106-minute runtime.
