This time, instead of the sculptor who has sworn off marriage in his hatred of women, we find our hero in a young, depressed female writer who lives alone. After her own mythic relationship with her lover ends poorly, she struggles to go outside. Too afraid to act when she sees her dreamy neighbor, she stays inside, she watches, and she writes.
