A lifelong Carolina farm girl, now in her early 20's, Grace has dreamed all her life of the day when "Mr. Right" slips a Princess Cut diamond on her finger and swears to love her forever. In Amazon’s new shark flick, The Devil’s Mouth, terrible tourists finally get their comeuppance while two estranged best friends must overcome their petty squabbles to survive as the rest of their party gets chomped one by one. While it’s by no means an Oscar winner, The Devil’s Mouth is good old fashioned shark week carnage with a tourist critical twist, perfect with popcorn, a friend, and a healthy does of schadenfreude.
Considering the runtime, I expected each scene to hit harder as opposed to a series of montages and vignettes.
The film basically says she was a lost cause from the start. We don't get a sense of who Marilyn was.

The film didn’t have to be as long as it is. It just dragged on and on with scenes that had no substance. Every so often we get an action scene, and even those isn’t that fun.
