Tom is released from prison after serving a 2-year-sentence and wants to get back at the man responsible for his arrest. He convinces his long-time friend Arne to assist him, but Arne doesn't know the extent of Tom's planned revenge.
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
Gretel & Hansel falters due to its razor thin story and lack of characterization. It loses sight of horror’s key rule: In order to create an effective tale, characters and emotions must be emphasized.
