Set In Liverpool, the story begins when ex -Fighting champion Danny's 8-year sentence is over, he returns home to a revelation. Not only is his beloved gym under pressure, his childhood sweetheart Sam and their only son Connor have been covering a huge secret. “Synchronic” is special, but it doesn’t succeed in achieving all the objectives it aims for. The film is a science fiction oeuvre which tries to be cerebral at some points, although the original idea is interesting, it only accomplishes to talk about some serious matters superficially.
The original Mothra is a fun monster movie that has way stronger lore, music, and special effects than most of its contemporaries.
If you want to feel the rush, you have to take the risk.
"The Old Guard" doesn't break ground, but it sure does bust boredom and fictional heads as an entertaining action romp on Netflix.
If you are a discerning movie watcher and/or an African-American with a modicum of Black consciousness, this film isn’t for you. It would be better to watch the documentary ‘They Fight’ to see the impactful, emotional story of Walter Manigan and the young men of DC’s Ward 8.
Halle's belting, crystal clear notes, and warm tone infused something into this blockbuster that I thoroughly enjoy.
