In the past, Nina was prosperous, with cassava piling up in her house up to the ceiling. But since the crisis, she's been reduced to selling a few vegetables that barely bring in any income. She doesn't even have the few pennies that would allow her to buy merchandise. However, Nina is not one to give up easily. She gathers her courage and embarks on the journey to reclaim her business.
Hoppers is a fun ride with a deep message underneath. In true Pixar fashion, Hoppers explores the complexity of emotions and learning to be still in a world that demands fast progress. Through the main character Mabel, we are reminded what it is like to let ourselves feel big emotions. But also how not to be controlled by them.
Every movement becomes a question of identity. To become who we are meant to be. In order to reach that we often have to shed who we once were, and that shedding can sometimes be so brutal it’s ungraceful.

Considering the runtime, I expected each scene to hit harder as opposed to a series of montages and vignettes.
