When he's forced to take in his orphaned French nephew, he leaves the boy to his estate caretaker Harry who must protect him from harm.
The film basically says she was a lost cause from the start. We don't get a sense of who Marilyn was.
'Playing with Fire' was clearly a film made for a kid or tween-ish audience. Keeping that in mind, I thought 'Playing with Fire' was alright, though it did portray some harmful stereotypes.
