At 18, Leonie and Marlene are best friends, convinced that nothing in the world can tear them apart. But then Leonie falls in love with Naomi, and as she immerses herself in her first great love, she drifts further away from Marlene. However, Leonie increasingly finds the relationship with Naomi overwhelming, and only after their breakup does she realize how much she has isolated herself. She leaves Berlin and starts training as a gardener in Brandenburg, hoping to sort out her feelings and the world around her. But the past years have left their mark on everyone.
The film, which focuses on an Argentinian family during an intimate birthday dinner, efficiently captures the eccentricities of each character as well as the nuances of their interpersonal dynamics.

'Zombieland: Double Tap' was entertaining and fun at times, but not very evolved. It had poorly developed female characters and stereotypical characters of color.
It took writers D.B Weiss and David Benioff two years to give us a promising final season. Two. Years. It was just going to be six episodes, which was short considering that all the other seasons — except season 7 — were 10 episodes. 10. 6 wasn’t enough, and even HBO wanted to give the writers more episodes. More seasons, even. However, the writers wanted to get out of the show as quickly as possible to work on other projects. This abruptness is clearly shown in this season.
It’s been five months since Wayward premiered on Netflix and it still has some of us in a choke-hold.
