In a small ninja village in the countryside, two students, Kagemaru and Jajamaru, must duel to decide who will become the next clan leader. Although Kagemaru emerges victorious, the village elder decides that Jajamaru is the more deserving. As both men are not entirely satisfied with the outcome, they flee to the city to try and gather their thoughts. Jajamaru winds up staying with the Watanabe family, and he takes an instant shine on their daughter. However, the family is being harassed by gangsters who are looking to acquire their land. Jajamaru vows to do everything he can to protect them, but as he enters into a battle with their leader he discovers that they have a secret weapon
