Man has been dumped by his ex-girlfriend Jenny. When he meets Jean he is finally able to forget Jenny, quoting a line about how they met on Valentine's Day and that it fell on the same day in both the Chinese and Western calendars. Their relationship builds wonderfully, until Jean's best friend Joyce comes back into Man's life. Joyce had fallen for Man earlier when he was a senior at university, and still harbors feelings for him. As Joyce starts to hint at how she feels, it begins to cause ripples in Man and Jean's relationship.
As a horror buff, I was intrigued by people claiming 'The Sadness' was the most disturbing movie they've ever seen or to watch with caution. So, I finally put the internet to the test and watched it for myself... to varying results.
'Jaded' is a film that focuses on the decisions that can derail our lives. Zanna's story takes you through a wide range of emotions.
All in all, “Event Horizon” is a cinematic misfire, begging to be perfected in the future. While it possesses an array of admirable visuals, the film leaves much to be desired. If only we could see Anderson’s preferred cut, which featured more character development and tortuous imagery. In the meantime, I have a catchphrase for this film: In space no one can hear you snore.
Escape The Field is a serviceable horror thriller. The characters are easier to remember as horror character tropes. As I wrote this review, I only remembered the characters by their tropes: #FinalGirl, #Everyman, #Badass, #MeanB*/SexyGirl, #Realist/BlackLesbian, and #TheNerd.
