Jimmy Angel, a convicted drug trafficker, has just received a second lease on life. His plan? Standing in their way are a nosey cop, rival trafficking gangs, and figures of Angel's past. But as the plot begins to unfold, Jimmy must make the ultimate choice: wealth or happiness? What can I say about this Will Ferrell/Julia Louis-Dreyfus-led “dramedy?” Well, the comedy part of Downhill is completely non-existent. And I should have known that the film was a flop when I walked into an empty theater at a prime time on a Friday night.
