Joseph is a young doctor who returned to his hometown in the Mountain Province to bury his father, an Ifugao chieftain, who was killed during a tribal dispute. While there, he discovers his rich heritage and acquires pride in his being an Ifugao. Though the lure of a career in America remains strong, he is unable to resist the urge to help his village, which has resisted modern medicine and is now in the midst of a pneumonia epidemic and a civil war.

A lot of us are emotionally impacted by the current pandemic. So, while we’re all stuck here in our homes, it’s great to put on a movie to ease the stress. With that, I made up a small list of some of my favorite feel-good movies.
“Eleanor The Great” is a feel-good story that explores how we cope with grief and loss while educating us about the horrors of the Holocaust.
This coming-of-age movie discusses immigration issues in the United States through the eyes of two exchange students in Brazil.
A gentle coming of age story, Water Lilies takes its time in exploring what it’s like to be a young girl trying to make sense of her sexuality in a heteronormative world.
For many people, Disney+’s debut show, The Mandalorian, was a breath of fresh air for the Star Wars universe. The Disney Gallery shows audiences how that show came to be.
