Four children are kidnapped and murdered in the same area, and now another child is missing. Agnes, a grieving newspaper editor who does not believe in the supernatural, sees a child get snatched right in front of her. Forced into a dark and terrifying mystery, she teams up with three fellow journalists and a police officer named Petra. Together, they uncover a chilling case that defies reality. With time running out and danger closing in, the group faces a brutal choice: walk away to save themselves, or risk their lives to protect the children.
