Avatar: Still a Groundbreaker in CGI, but Not in Story
I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.

Masked policemen roam the streets and kill for even the slightest offense on the spot. Meanwhile, mysterious butchers at the Market work overtime to feed the starving masses - for the right price, of course. A dark hero seeks to escape this horrific cycle, but can he escape his own nature?
