Mala has hatched the perfect plan to rope in her man Charles, a pompous, self-centered womanizer that she's determined to tame. Armed with a nine-step plan laced with Haitian voodoo, she's gonna throw the party of her life for the sole purpose of casting her spell and catching her man. But Mala's choice of party guests may prove to her plan's undoing. There's Roxie, Mala's kleptomaniac girlfriend, and Sponge, Roxie's freeloading brother. Adding to the chaos, her gay friends and drunken uncle are harassing her Anglo-Saxon supervisor from the office. Let's not even mention the guy with the camcorder who wants to record every angle. As everyone at Mala's little voodoo party really gets to know each other, you are guaranteed to bust a gut when Mala busts heads.
