‘Still’: An Interesting Premise With Poor Execution
Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.

In the final part of the Franconian Macho Man trilogy, Nuremberg faces a huge challenge. A dangerous trafficking cartel has spread across the city and has been up to mischief for years. But the Macho Men, who have been enforcing law and order since the 1980s, are determined to put an end to this cartel.
Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.
If your upbringing was anything like mine, where the TV acted as an additional parent- there are so many new stories and perspectives to explore.
In 'Maestro,' we're left with an impression but not with an understanding of the main character.
The gentle, emotional nuances of Evan’s coming-of-age story would have been so beneficial to have incorporated into the life of a POC character. Showing a Black, Asian or Latino young man that is afforded the space to be vulnerable, flawed and sensitive while driving a compelling and widely-loved narrative would have been a game changer.
Over the last several years, I have had the privilege of being one of the critics having the opportunity to watch and review several films from writer/director/producer Marcellus Cox, whose efforts are never anything less but grounded, relevant, and steeped in unflinching glimpses illustrating the gripping, inspired, and ever-vacillating realms that make up the human condition.
