“Host:” Quarantine Horror for the Online Generation
Shudder’s Host (not a particularly original title, I must say) attempts to bring the spooks to “the quarantine generation” by presenting us with a scary Zoom call during lockdown.

After an eventful party ends in disaster, four young adults - Raheem, a SoundCloud rapper; his girlfriend Zora, an accountant; Kurt, a couch surfer; and Owen, a casual hookup - find themselves involved in what appears to be a fatal hit-and-run. Fearing arrest, they separate to spend what may be their final hours of freedom on their own terms. Told through a series of interconnected vignettes, Little Vines Run! follows each of them as they confront guilt, fractured relationships, and the consequences of a night that may not be exactly what it seems.

Where is Lilo's face? Disney marketing sends a chilling signal: that even in 2025, an alien is more palatable and marketable than a brown girl.
The film does not add anything to its own conversation or genre, and falls flat once it’s about to end and must declare some sort of conclusion.
'The Worst Person In The World' follows a part of life I don't see often portrayed on-screen: extended adolescence.
Tom Clancy's Without Remorse has everything a movie director from the 80’s could wish.
