Surface Level "People We Meet on Vacation" is Still a Fun Time
Unfortunately, People We Meet on Vacation didn’t hold up quite as well as I’d hoped.

Comedic host and pro surfer, Benji Weatherley, takes the worlds biggest names in surf, skate and snow and one very famous musician around the world to experience each others sports first hand. From the exotic island of Kandui in the Mentawaiis for world class surfing to the concrete jungle of Japan for indoor snowboarding, surfing a man made wave pool and skating the streets of Osaka, to the majestic white caps of Whistler for insane powder moments. Traditionally, these pro athletes are presented solely within their individual sport. However, there is a common thread among these professions that unite them. Though surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding are all very different, they are all part of a revolution of sports called Action Sports. "Life as a Movie" explores this commonality in a cinematic and realistic manner as viewers get an up close and personal look into what actually goes into being a professional action sports athlete... Love Hard is a Christmas romcom about two people who fall in love while pretending to date. It’s a romantic and fun watch. If you can forget the catfishing.
'Blonde' commits a relentless assault on the autonomy of Marilyn Monroe, reducing the icon to nothing more than a victim of the director's whims.
Its predictability shouldn’t distract from the enjoyment that the pure cinematic imagination behind the camera elicits. It is a movie of crises both moral and mortal, oozing with CGI, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Although Fargo is not actually based on a true story, I do believe it is worth the watch. It has drama, suspense, and a mysterious figure to keep you engaged.
Netflix's Afterlife of the Party might fall into the rom-com genre, but it's much more about grief, strong female friendships, and platonic love than it is about romance.
