A couple decide to elope and get married instead of having a formal wedding with family and friends; however, when friends get involved, the plan spirals out of control.
Ultimately the problem with The Bubble is that it plays everything for laughs to get around the audience’s defenses. But it comes off like a privileged white male thinking that ridiculing everyone else equally is the road to equality. And it’s not. And it's definitely not funny to pretend that it is.
The film does not add anything to its own conversation or genre, and falls flat once it’s about to end and must declare some sort of conclusion.
This action thriller is made with the hope that the black youth of America will feel empowered, and realize the significance of their heritage.
