What 'Magnolia' Says About Childhood Trauma
Magnolia focuses on how one’s childhood and trauma relate to their confidence and self.

Kinetik tells the story of the lives of three young people named Karim, Dhea, and Kevin, who have each achieved success in their respective fields. Karim works as an interior designer, Dhea is a dancer, and Kevin is a programmer. However, the three of them feel that they are not yet satisfied with the success they have achieved. Because of this, they decide to contribute to their surrounding community by renovating and redesigning a roadside school.

With such a raw look at the 15th century, it seems that Disney was really trying to step outside of its element with this motion picture.
I first saw Dear Evan Hansen on the Broadway stage. Apparently, I was so blown away by the magic of theater that I didn’t pick up on the questionable dynamics. The story's clumsy handling in the movie brought those issues to light.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes on the heels of its billion-dollar grossing predecessor, and seeks to do absolutely nothing other than repeat its success. In this, the film is eminently effective. If you have seen the previous film, you can expect something extremely similar in this package. That is, a barrage of references to Nintendo intellectual property wrapped in a plot that provides the thinnest layer of emotional payoff for the characters.
It only seems to prove that when the company had their backs against the wall and needed an all pleasing, generic movie that had to make up for The Last Jedi, they chose to sacrifice almost everything that made their main protagonist interesting and that made her stand out as the strong female character that a generation of young movie goers was supposed to look up to. Instead, we were left with a Rey that was so much less than she could have been. And I guess that’s the real story of Rey and The Rise of Skywalker; they could have been so much more, but they were just more of the same.
Director Dana Ziyasheva made her directorial debut, 'Defenders of Life' which focuses on the Ngäbe community, and the hardships Ngäbe girls faced in Costa Rica.
