'The Vigil': To Believe or Not to Believe?

A desperate drug addict breaks into a locker and steals a bag for his next fix, a small crime that lands him behind bars. In prison, he’s a loner, baited by guards who want to see him snap and lose his shot at parole.

Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.
The accountant in question is Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), who’s neurodivergent. We know this because at a dating event, he bores women with tax advice. He also places his breakfast foods in neat stacks and has no friends.
The major flaw of the series is that it’s hosted on Netflix and barely makes malicious comments about it despite being focused on the lives of people directly affected by the Capitalist mentality of the OTT corporation.
