Her mother passed away when she was very young, so she spent her entire life living with her aunt and cousin. Her aunt and cousin arranged her marriage to someone outside their family, which later caused significant problems in her and her husband's life. These issues eventually forced Peri to revisit the old family archives to find a way to resolve their troubles.
