# The Joys and Sorrows of Three Mothers The story of the joys and sorrows of three mothers, Maria, Julia and Anita, as they raise their children. Maria is a career woman who has built her own business. She has divorced her ex-husband and has two sons, Ezra and Ezrin. After divorcing Zainal, both children, now teenagers, are raised by their father. Maria's busy schedule managing her business causes her relationship with Ezra and Ezrin to become strained and increasingly distant. Next is the story of Anita, a secondary school teacher who has recently moved to Kuala Lumpur with her two children, Juwita and a baby, Sara. Juwita continues her studies at college while at the same time helping her mother manage the house and take care of Sara. To Anita's eyes, Juwita and Sara appear happy and perfect, but no one knows that Sara is not Anita's child but Juwita's daughter.
