'Under Wraps': A 2021 Halloween Remake
This remake of the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name brings a strong representative cast.

What started out as a pleasant school trip has now turned to tragedy. Twelve-year-old Maria is standing on a bridge threatening to throw herself onto the railway tracks below. Her schoolmates are cheering her on, insulting her and daring her to jump, while her teacher is reasoning with her to get her to climb down.

The film does not add anything to its own conversation or genre, and falls flat once it’s about to end and must declare some sort of conclusion.
Overall, 18 Presents feels more like a soap opera than a drama, and I feel bad for saying that since the concept is based off a tragic story (even though it’s loosely). I’m sure other people will find this film emotional for them, but as for me, it’s bland and forgettable.

If you were to watch it on streaming when you have nothing to do, it’s still probably a giant waste of time, but you could do far worse. Paying $18 for a movie ticket and who knows how much for concessions turns this from an exercise in boredom to an exercise in frustration.
