Avatar: Still a Groundbreaker in CGI, but Not in Story
I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.

The one who has played Marie-Thérèse for two decades discusses the women of his life, the ones who inspired him, including his grandma, his boss, and one of his idols: Zouc. Without forgetting Dalida, Nina Hagen, Madonna, or Diane Dufresne, who contributed to the fact that at eight years old, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Joseph replied without hesitation: "singer."

Wanting a Refund on ‘18 Presents’

'We Can Be Heroes': Fun If You're a Kid (or Remember Being One)
A refreshing twist is that all the kids’ powers are…kind of useless. There’s a kid who can only move in slow motion, a kid who has every power in the world but can only use them randomly, and our main character Missy who has no powers at all. The thesis of the film seems to be that it doesn’t matter what kind of powers you have, its the way you use them, which is good for the warm and fuzzies.
