A deaf-mute girl, a wheelchair user, does not walk. He cannot speak either Russian or the language of the deaf and dumb. On vacation in Italy, this does not prevent her from easily and cheerfully communicating with hotel employees and guests from different countries. The film is about her and her friend, a little boy who knows why some children are born healthy and others sick.
The 2019 film, Vai, takes us through eight stories across the islands of Oceania. The settings are unbelievably beautiful, the cast is beautiful, the languages are beautiful, and the stories are beautiful…but heartbreaking.
Like Fourth of July fireworks, the film Honey Don’t is colorful and fun to look at, delivering many bangs (sex and guns!) for your buck before quietly fading out.
Disney has hopefully learned some lessons since 1994. Are those lessons reflected in the 2019 remake of "The Lion King?"
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
