In the Bag (2026)

Hot, hard-partying detectives Davis and DeSoto have let pleasure get in the way of doing diligent police work too many times and are one fuck up away from being demoted to desk duty. When a high-profile Hollywood actress is murdered, the easily distracted duo’s police chief assigns them to the case, in hope of seeing them fail yet again. The slutty partners are drawn into a twisted case wrapped around a weird and pervy cast of potential suspects. Did a jealous rival or an obsessed fan commit the dastardly crime? Perhaps it was the victim’s scheming houseboy Reg, or porn stars Leaky and Squeaky. Or was it failed film director Lenny? Incompetent as they may be, Davis and DeSoto might finally be onto something this time - if they can keep it in their pants long enough to crack the case!

The Shrew Has Been Tamed in The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026)

My review’s title is a nod to Shakespeare and is entirely deliberate. The original movie portrayed the high-end fashion world as a brutal arena of plotting, backstabbing, and betrayal, and most Shakespeare’s plays depend on these plot devices. The Devil Wears Prada 2 uses the same formula, and is, plot-wise, almost identical. Once again, we plunge into the cutthroat world of Runway, where to get and stay at the top, you must let go of your principles and moral sense. The only thing different is that due to the digital era, Runway is not a print magazine anymore, but one that is running online.
