This is a tale of Hong Kong, of the the students who fight for democracy. Today they face a trial from the teacher, who asks them to snitch on the troublemaker. The students all tell a different tale, protecting each other despite their different backgrounds, identities, and privileges. The trial continues till the evening, and it only ends at night. Is this an evening of resistenc, or an evening before sunrise and hope?
