When Commissioner Okan returns to his new post with his beloved wife Lale and son Mert, he is greeted with great excitement and joy. However, their first day in the city is marred by a great tragedy. Commissioner Okan's wife and son lose their lives in an attack. Losing his faith in justice, Commissioner Okan loses himself in his quest for revenge and decides to take justice into his own hands with five men. However, this is not just a journey focused on revenge, but also a process of understanding the pain within them and the loved ones they have lost.They realize that they have made many choices in life and must confront the consequences of those choices. Two Good, Two Bad, Five Men is a drama film that delves into the depths of the quest for justice.
In the film adaptation, director Jon M. Chu turns each musical number into a massive show stopper, with grand set pieces and a wealth of diverse dancers. Yet, in this attempt to show reverence for the people of the Washington Heights barrio, Chu, or maybe more specifically those in charge of casting, left out a crucial part of the community, Afro-Latinos.
The definition of the word foul is “offensive to the senses,” which is a pretty good summation of the new Disney+ film, Artemis Fowl
This incarnation of Animal Farm is filled with the generic plot points, immature humor, cardboard characters and visual flaws that you have come to know from today’s lesser children’s films.

The social issues The Half of it takes on are handled well, between the antagonization brought on to Ellie for her race and the conflict that arises from her being gay. Both aspects of her character are built up over the course of the film and don’t seem abrupt or rushed. The film shows racism towards Ellie and her and father in varying levels, from having her schoolmates specifically address her as "Chinese girl” to the fore mentioned way her Dad is treated due to language barriers. The same can be said about Ellie being a lesbian. While she never truly “comes out” in the narrative, that does not undermine her journey of self-discovery from being meaningful. These ideas aren’t thrust upon the viewer in a preachy manor, the scenarios that occur feel believable given the rural setting. The film presents watchers with problems whom those like Ellie may face, and leaves us to sit with them and reflect.
