Adria Rae directs and stars in her first project for Deeper in this collection of five indulgent vignettes. Complete with fantasies of sexual transaction and domination, cuckolding and threesome experiments, manipulative anal and dreamy hallucinations that blur the lines between real and unreal, each story builds a tension that bursts into a perfeectly crafted explosion of sexual energy.
The film didn’t have to be as long as it is. It just dragged on and on with scenes that had no substance. Every so often we get an action scene, and even those isn’t that fun.
The most impressive aspect of this film is the honest and natural performances given by the on-screen duo.
A man invents the internet with the help of an otherworldly force. But he soon learns that not all is what it seems. A delightful sequence of images for a delightful fictional story about what lies behind.
On top of the phenomenal acting, and great dialogue between the two characters, the cinematography was ravishing! The sound was outstanding! The production design was simple, yet intrinsic. The minimalistic approach in the Malibu beach house represented how little they really have going on in their relationship. The storyline may have been much simpler than "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf," but all the more insightful, and much more animalistic at its core.
This coming-of-age musical features a strong representation of LGBTQ+ individuals coming-of-age.
