Unrelentingly funny, highly entertaining, and ridiculously absurd, My Movie Starring Paul Dano is, according to its creator, Joe Bartone, a tribute to the willful ignorance of independent filmmaking found in the late '70s in New York City. Kat Wahlen’s The Whiteboard tells, or rather shows, a delightful love story between two young women who meet in detention.
Indie director, Niki Caro (known for 'Whale Rider') directs the live-action 'Mulan' and sets another example of strong females fighting against gender inequality.
We got a movie that takes the old school approach of trying to creep you out with chilling atmosphere more than anything else.
