
Soft, an escaped undocumented worker, clutches a woman's ID card in his hand. This woman is the goddess of his best friend, Chai, who yearns to meet her. To fulfill Chai's desire, Soft embarks on a journey, heading toward the location indicated on the ID card.
Its predictability shouldn’t distract from the enjoyment that the pure cinematic imagination behind the camera elicits. It is a movie of crises both moral and mortal, oozing with CGI, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Ripley is a great character because she serves two distinct, but rewarding, purposes in the original film and the sequel.
Emma Stone (Estella and Cruella) and Emma Thompson (the Baroness) did not come to play around in Cruella. They embodied the perfect balance of sinister and sincere. Estella went through a great hero's journey, and what a journey it was!
