During the Spring Festival, a lively, gluttonous and mischievous puppy named Xiaobai gets lost amid the travel rush back home. Eager to find its way back, it keeps losing direction. On the way, Xiaobai chances upon Lin Wei (played by Huang Yao), a young woman spending the Chinese New Year alone and feeling a little lost inside. The two journey together, and gradually open their hearts to each other as they look after one another – Lin Wei helps Xiaobai search for its owner, and in return, Xiaobai heals Lin Wei's loneliness with its innocence and companionship, making her rediscover the warmth and softness of life.
