Shudder’s Host (not a particularly original title, I must say) attempts to bring the spooks to “the quarantine generation” by presenting us with a scary Zoom call during lockdown.

The story follows Luna, a successful entrepreneur who is deceived by her fiancé, Razi. She is disappointed when their business fails because Razi is involved in a money scandal and has a mistress. Meanwhile, Gie has just been fired from his job. Despite still looking for work, he remains calm and cheerful. Gie accepts the situation that has befallen him.
