A valuable painting was stolen from the Museum of Fine Arts in Mons during the exhibition "Birth of an Artist" featuring the famous Vincent Van Gogh. The theft appears to have been carried out by professionals who are preparing a new heist: a statue erected in the square in front of Binche train station. Why are they targeting cultural heritage, and who benefits from the crime?
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
Anna May Wong was a talented actress and a fashion icon and still had to fight for everything she had due to hatred and racism.
“Synchronic” is special, but it doesn’t succeed in achieving all the objectives it aims for. The film is a science fiction oeuvre which tries to be cerebral at some points, although the original idea is interesting, it only accomplishes to talk about some serious matters superficially.
As a musical fan, I enjoyed the film and encourage anyone who likes dark humour and a bit of blood to give it a watch.
An anti-war film denouncing the valorization of senseless violence, 'All Quiet on the Western Front' is (unfortunately) all too relevant in 2022.
