Five friends come together to share music from back home. Through music, they reflect on what loss, nostalgia, and the universality of music mean for them. They go on a journey through the afterlife of Zubeen Garg and Tom Chang’s artistry, finally reaching the sense of community alive in Ambedkarite music. Initially, what seemed like three different worlds later merged together through the common theme of freedom, resilience, rebellion, and love. Through archives of the artists and conversations with fans, the filmmakers look at how the artists and their art get immortalised even after their physical demise. The film is the result of five filmmakers from different parts of the country and the world coming together with a shared goal of making a film about music.
