"Mothra" Still Rocks
The original Mothra is a fun monster movie that has way stronger lore, music, and special effects than most of its contemporaries.

Joe, a reckless cab driver, accidentally hits someone with his taxi. The person he hit is May, a sweet girl who walks with a limp due to one of her legs being longer than the other. Joe mistakenly thinks that he's paralyzed May for life; so in order to make it up to her, he works for her family, helping them run their grocery store. Soon, Joe falls in love with May, but she's slow to return his affection.

Jennifer Lopez leads the story as Zoe, a determined woman who opts for artificial insemination after a string of failed relationships. Lopez's portrayal adds depth and warmth to Zoe
The film is a simple love story reminiscent of stories like The Notebook released in 2004. Sylvie and Robert are rarely actually together in the film, however; time and circumstance keep them away from each other, and the audience waits with bated breath to see them find one another over and over.
A dog who needs to learn new tricks in this family comedy.
"13 Going on 30" tracks the tricky transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Animation as a medium of storytelling can be thought to be open to all ages and as I hope my reading will reveal, 'Nimona' could be interpreted as a transgender story.
