Flowers for the Young Lady (2018)

‘Barbie’ is an entertaining, meaningful piece of filmmaking with a heartfelt message.

A haunting look at grief, survival, and a mother’s quiet collapse in a world that never gave her room to fall.

Barry Jenkins' masterpiece holds up as the story of a lifetime centered on the intersection of Blackness and gay identity.

The fun tricks used in the production design and lighting read extremely well on-screen but hardly fulfill their purpose of trying to inject glamour into a lack-luster story with nothing to say. 

'The Invisible Man' triumphs in tension even as it drops the ball on genuine surprise for the audience.

Those perfect Summer or Fall days. The sun is shining, the temperature is JUST right, and you've got nothing else to do. Therefore, isn't it time to get outside and take a nice stroll through the park, or along the shoreline (should you be that fortunate), or even just around the neighborhood? Sure. BUT.....if one lives in the America found in the newest film adaptation of the work from horror author/cultural icon Stephen King.....doing this SHOULD be the LAST thing you hope to find yourself engaged with.
