“The Shining” is Still Shining 40 Years Later
Overall, The Shining is a great film to watch for its atmosphere and setting. While the characters’ portrayals could’ve been more accurate to the book, they’re all still memorable nonetheless.

There were 54 performances in total. This time, he is collaborating with two of Denmark's great voices: Rikke Mølgaard and Yasmin Elvira Steenholdt. Together, they deliver a humorous, fast-paced, and, not least, musically stunning show that has received standing ovations from enthusiastic and entertained audiences across the country. Finn can be seen in both familiar and new roles: as the brave Jutland farmer, the smart Copenhagen chauffeur, the dance teacher Esther in a red sequined dress, the friendly Poul Reichardt... to name just a few examples. And, of course, no Finn Nørbygård show would be complete without music. Not only do two great voices reach beyond the edge of the stage, but three—because Finn also sings with his usual convincing power.

"She’s Gotta Have It” was Ahead of the Curve in Portrayal of Female Sexuality
In Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It (1986), we follow the love life of powerful female protagonist Nola Darling (Tracy Camilla Johns) and explore the relationship dynamics she has with her partners. She sees three men simultaneously: Greer Childs, (John Canada Terrell) Mars Blackmon (Spike Lee), and Jamie Overstreet (Tommy Redmond Hicks). Though an 80’s film, She’s Gotta Have It is surprisingly progressive with its themes of female sexuality, although at some points in the film it is handled clumsily. Overall Nola is an incredibly compelling character especially for modern women, as we as a society acknowledge female sensuality more and more without the negative stigma.
