The film depicts the struggles of a poor family. A father who repairs shoes works alongside his two sons. The father wants his eldest son, Mehmet, to find another job. The father suggests that they all work together to pool their money and then renovate the shop. Upon this, the entire family goes to pick cotton. However, things will not go as planned for the family embarking on this new venture.
