Iris is on the verge of a burn out because she is forced to take all emotional and practical responsibility in her relationship with Leo. A mystical support group leader introduces her to a questionable method that could equalize her relationship. To follow through the method is harder than Iris expected.
This film was filled with great plot points. Unfortunately, they all contradicted each other and clashed. Had the premise of Awake been more consistent and accurately portrayed the real world aspect, I think this could have been an extreme success.
This captivating film can only be truly appreciated by seeing it firsthand. There are not enough words to describe the terrible beauty one experiences while watching it.
Unfortunately, People We Meet on Vacation didn’t hold up quite as well as I’d hoped.
