A few episodes in, I realized the most prominent theme of In The Long Run wasn't culture, race or even finding independence--but the idea of belonging.

Although he drew Star Wars episodes in the U.S., in Croatia he was almost anonymous. He died in his early thirties. Eddy's Gone is also a story about the comic-strip culture in Croatia.
