Eastbound is the inspiring story of one woman’s record-breaking cycle around the World. Over the course of 18,000 miles, ridden alone and with no support crew in 2018, Jenny Graham smashed the previous Guinness World Record by nearly three weeks finishing in 124days 11hours. This film follows Jenny as she tackles the gruelling daily routine of 14 hours in the saddle with the harsh realities of the journey. From the sheer terror of near collisions on Russian roads, to experiencing a myriad of different cultures, and finding friendships with strangers. We see the misery of mid-winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and watch as Jenny tackles alarming encounters with kangaroos and grizzly bears. By the time she returns to the finish line at the Brandenburg Gates it’s no surprise that Jenny is a changed person thanks to one humble bike, the entire world, and an unforgettable adventure.
