Dursun Çavuş, who had fallen out with Ağa, was persuaded by his wife Server and his friends to retire and run for mayor.Throughout the election campaign, thousands of Adıyaman residents who never left Dursun Çavuş's side were certain he would become mayor. However, Dursun Çavuş had fallen into an election trap. He lost by three votes.
