Taking a Break from the News by Watching the News- but does “Last Week Tonight” Count?
Acutely funny and always well-intentioned, Last Week Tonight has a lot of heart for a satirical-news program.

Dr. Dilara 2016. Dr. Dilara Bessano is a Turkish Cypriot, who was born and grew up in Cyprus. She went to Italy to study and there she got married with a writer and researcher, Antonio Bessano. Dr. Dilara is at the end of her 20's and has a 4-year-old daughter, Asia. Dilara's life changed drastically when her husband committed suicide on his birthday. Dilara and her daughter Asia moved back to Cyprus after this tragic incident.She started to work as an instructor at the Faculty of Communication at Near East University. While she is working on the documentary that she was working together with her husband entitled "Mass Graves in Cyprus," she finds herself and her daughter in some issues that make her life more difficult.

Twisting what seems to be obvious setups and frameworks is what sets the story structure of Squid Game apart. I appreciate that this narrative is complex but not complicated; an easy enough plot to wrap your head around while still treating the audience like an equal participant in this social commentary

In addition to the cast being delightfully diverse this time around, the film was just loosely-plotted and action-packed enough to keep a casual fan like myself entertained. While I do agree that the writing of Cole left much to be desired for an original character thrust into a preconceived universe, none of the characters seemed particularly fleshed out in terms of personality; however, I think that's to be expected when you're watching a film literally inspired by a video game.
