‘The Bear’ Season 2 has all the right ingredients for both comedy and drama.

Penny, a troubled runaway, is picked up hitchhiking by a group of friends on a camping trip. But after trekking deep into the forest, Penny soon realises this group is not seeking the ideal camping spot after all, but something much more sinister. Now it's an epic fight for survival, as Penny pulls out all punches to be the last one standing.

The film, which focuses on an Argentinian family during an intimate birthday dinner, efficiently captures the eccentricities of each character as well as the nuances of their interpersonal dynamics.
The major flaw of the series is that it’s hosted on Netflix and barely makes malicious comments about it despite being focused on the lives of people directly affected by the Capitalist mentality of the OTT corporation.

As an extremely avid fan of DC’s animation, I’ve become familiar with the way the studio uses Batman as a bit of a Trojan Horse to introduce some of their lesser known characters.
