No opera is so closely connected with Brno and its surroundings as Janáček’s enchanting woodland tale, where the human and animal worlds intermingle. Opening this year’s Janáček Brno International Opera and Music Festival, this new production is directed by Jiří Heřman, Artistic Director of Opera at the National Theatre Brno.
