It comprises of considered historical analysis, personal stories from relatives of those who served in its ranks and dramatic reconstructions of key events in the organisation's history. The documentary highlights the largely unrecognised contribution of the women of Cumann na mBan to the struggle for self-determination and further our understanding of their motives, their achievements and their sacrifices.
