'Overcast' - MiamisFF Review
The makings of a great midseason filler episode that would connect in many different directions. This is a police drama filler with a guest director.

After going their separate ways, Miguel, Leonardo, and Atello reunite for a night of games, reminiscing about old times. As the hours pass and the bottles empty, buried resentments resurface, leading them to a tragic ending.

Another uneven "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" redux that says nothing novel about its subject matter.
"Rodgers' & Hammerstein's Cinderella" wasn’t just a fairytale, it's a Black girl's fairytale. It was a fantasy world where the undeniable beauty of Black girls and Women was celebrated and beloved.
I highly recommend Kill Bill: Volume 2. In classic Tarantino fashion, specific sections of the film are a tad too long, but overall, it’s a wonderful piece of escapist fiction.
Writing great villains is about striking a balance between charming and evil, so we love them but also love to see them lose.
Like most young people, Leviticus is imperfect. But I love it anyways.
